episode #11

asking someone out

Learn Spanish through simple everyday conversations and stories with native spanish speakers from Spain and Latin America. Very easy Spanish lessons that will help you to improve your language skills. This is the episode #11 of Español en Contexto and in it Miguel, our Spanish friend, will tell us a personal story about a time when he wanted to ask a girl out. It’s a bit long but it’s totally worth it. I assure you that you’ll learn a lot because Miguel will use different expressions, common sayings and vocabulary that you can use in many other contexts. By learning new words in the right context you will remember them easily and you will be able to start using the Spanish you learn in this lesson right away.

For those of you who are not familiar with these kinds of videos on my channel, they are divided into 3 different parts:

1) You will read and listen to Miguel’s story at a very slow speed so that you can get the right pronunciation of every word.

2) In the second part I (Salo) will explain to you those words, expressions and sayings that in my opinion are important to remember. I will provide you with examples in Spanish and English so that you understand when and how exactly you can use them.

3) And finally, you will listen to Miguel’s story in Spanish one more time but at a normal speed of conversation. It will be a great excercise for you which will help you improve your listening skills in Spanish.
